I was thrilled when this gorgeous friend of mine asked me to document her third pregnancy. Can you believe she's 38 weeks pregnant?! Absolutely stunning! And honestly, one of the sweetest families I know. I'm so happy our paths crossed this year :) I couldn't narrow down my favorites so it's a long post! Can't wait to meet baby girl in two weeks!

We had the perfect evening to take Miss Sophia's one year photos, look at that gorgeous light! Although the light is nothing compared to the little one year old beauty :) And honestly I think she may have been the easiest baby I've ever photographed! I asked her parents if she is always that good and they said yes - lucky!! Happy birthday sweet girl!

I had the BEST time shooting engagement photos with Chris and Samantha the other night. We just walked around town getting to know each other and taking pictures wherever we felt inspired! They are high school sweethearts just like my husband and me so that's always fun :) I can't wait for their March wedding, I can already tell it's going to be amazing! Congratulations you two!

So my little girl turned 1 in May and I had big plans for a one-year photo shoot with her. But I've been crazy busy between weddings, senior shoots, and vacations up north so it just never happened. But the other night we discovered she loooves watermelon so I decided to simply set her on the grass in our backyard, throw a dress on her and let her have at a few slices while I clicked away :) It may not be the elaborate cake smash session I had planned for her birthday and she is 14 months now, but it captures her and her sweet little personality so mission accomplished!

I've been editing Cecilia's one year photos all day and I can't get the "Oh Cecilia you're breaking my heart" song out of my head :) Last time I saw Cece she was only 6 months old so it was fun to see her and her awesome parents again. We had a gorgeous evening and she did so great; such a beautiful little girl with her big blue eyes and red hair!
