Northville, MI Family Photographer | Family of Three - For Now

What I adore about this set of images is the love that is so visible in every shot.  I can't lie, photographing families of three is one of my favorite things to do :)  However, this little boy has a new sibling on the way, and I have no doubt that this soon to be family of four will be just as adorable and obsessed with one another!  Can't wait to meet baby girl in March!

Northville, MI Family Photographer | Simply Adorable

I love this family.  Aren't they adorable?  We have been friends for years (since 6th grade!) and I love taking their photos.  They showed me the matching plaid peacoats for the girls a few weeks before the shoot, and I was so excited.  I knew the colors would be perfect, especially for Christmas cards!  I also love that Grandma and Grandpa came for a few shots.  They did double duty too and helped make the girls smile for the camera which was an added bonus :)

Novi, MI Family Photographer | One Room Shoot

A lot of people think you can't do photo sessions in the winter; sessions must be on sunny warm days in a park.  Not true!  Granted, I love outdoor photos and having the ability to move around and use a variety of different backgrounds.  But an in-home session can be just as beautiful and even more personal.  Your family spends the most time together in your home, why not document that?  All of these photos were taken in one room of this family's home and look at all the different shots we got!  It helps to think ahead and coordinate your clothes with the area where we'll be shooting, this family nailed it.  I love these photos, and I hope it makes you realize you don't have to wait until summer or fall to schedule a family session.

Northville, MI Wedding Photographer | Doug + Amy

Last June I had the privilege of shooting Doug and Amy's gorgeous wedding at the Dearborn Inn.  After spending the morning with both their families, tearing up during the beautiful ceremony, riding in the party bus with the bridal party, enduring the heat at Greenfield Village, enjoying a fabulous dinner, and even swaying to the music as I shot, they truly felt like good friends by the end of the day!  Amy sent me the sweetest thank you note; and I especially loved this line, "Your kindness, vision and attention to detail cannot be matched." So take a peek into this perfect day:
