Northville, MI Senior Photographer | Susie Class of 2014

I've been meaning to post "Part 2" of my sister's senior photo session for awhile so here you go!  We took these up north around Torch Lake and Lake Michigan over Labor Day weekend.  My mom chauffeured us around for a few hours and whenever we saw an interesting spot we'd park, run out, and snap a few.  I can't believe you're a senior, Sus!  You are so gorgeous, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you.  Love you doll!!

And we took these pics in her pom uniform back in June, but I never got around to posting them.  I always wanted to be on pom so I'm living vicariously through her :)

Northville, MI Senior Photographer | Kristen - Class of 2014

Seniors are quickly becoming my favorite subjects to shoot - they're always excited to have their photos taken, they have awesome outfits to pick from, and they're up for trying new poses and locations.  Kristen did such a great job at her shoot and we had so much fun.  Her mom was telling "embarrassing moment" stories that had us all cracking up and I was able to capture some great, natural expressions from Kristen.

Northville, MI Engagement Photographer | Kari + Mark

Kari and Mark's engagement session was originally planned for two weeks ago, but that night we had a near tornado in Northville so luckily we postponed and ended up with a gorgeous day a week later!  They are friends with my sister in law and it was great to finally meet them and their cute little bulldog, Kimber.  They were a ton of fun and would crack up just looking at each other so I have no doubt it's going to be a great wedding in May!  Looking forward to it :)

Northville, MI Family Photographer | Mack

It had been a year since I last photographed this family and it was so fun to see how their little girl has changed since then.  The difference between 1 and 2 years old is crazy - last time Mackenzie could barely walk and now she was running, jumping, and talking!  She is such a happy girl, and we had a lot of fun even though we always seem to be plagued with threatening weather for our sessions!  No worries though, we got out some umbrellas and rainboots at the end and they made for some adorable pictures as well!  Already looking forward to our next session together :)

Walled Lake, MI Senior Photographer | Emily - Class of 2014

Oh my goodness Emily was amazing to work with!  It's so funny because at the beginning of the session senior girls always tell me they don't know how to pose, but by the end they're rocking it like a model and I feel like a paparazzi snapping away!  Emily was no exception, this girl was full of great ideas and I loved how she could do the "serious" face, but also had great smiles.  As we were leaving Emily told me, "that was so much fun!" and that's one of the biggest compliments I can get.  I want you to have a good time at your session; if you're having fun I know I'm getting great photos!

Northville, MI Senior Photographer | Faith - Class of 2014

It was pouring as I was driving to meet Faith for our session at Heritage Park in Farmington. Thankfully it stopped by the time I got there and the sun even came out for a bit!  But no joke as soon as I got in the car to drive home it started raining again, talk about perfect timing!  Faith is not only beautiful, but so sweet and I really enjoyed getting to know her.  I loved all her different looks in this shoot, she made my job so easy! Best of luck next year Faith!
